Loud is Not the Same as Mean

We are on a pool deck that has several other activities at once. Examples? Water Aerobics, swim lessons, open swim, and then our swim team. It is LOUD, therefore the coaches have to be loud. A parent. Not parents. A parent is now going around to the parents on deck saying how awful and mean I and the other coaches are because we are having to say sets loud. The kids have zero issues and understand it’s very loud and when they are doing mid pool 25’s we have to be LOUD. None of them take it as us being mean but “drama causing’ mama” sure does. Now, the kids right before championships, are hearing these things. We are in a small town and have noticed any time this particular woman/family is involved things dissolve. Struggling with the fear that she is going to ruin things and now people thinking my staff and I are mean. AGH! People suck!
